Retreat

This past weekend I went on retreat with the women of my church, Christ Church Unity, to a wonderful retreat facility in Fruitland Park, FL. The retreat was call "Women of Wisdom" and was led by Cassandra Akins and Rev Cynthia Alice Anderson, the spiritual leader of the my church.

The retreat was centered around a spiritual work called SoulCollage, a deep work that focuses on healing at the soul level. I will write more about that later. Below are some pics from the weekend.

So I realize this picture is not very clear but it is a picture of a hawk, a very special bird to me. I felt especially blessed to have encountered him right before I left this place.
