Another Day, Another Gift

This morning, just as I was opening my eyes, I was greeted immediately with a plugged up toilet. As a lady with a bit of life experience and wisdom under my belt, I usually visit the bathroom a couple times each night. All "seemed" to be working fine though I was busy digesting a dream I was having so I'm not real sure. I now have to accompany Jack the dog outside as she does her morning business because of the new trick of jumping over the fence. As quickly as possible I ushered her back inside so I could tend to the commode and my own call of nature. I got the plunger and start slamming away to push whatever was the problem out of the way. Stuff was going down but it still would not flush. Pressure was building because I HAD TO GO!

I had been considering how exactly I would be able to handle a #2 while on the walk. Tyler Coulson had emphasized repeatedly that certain positions needed to be strengthened for the call of nature to be comfortably realized. Now was the time to experiment. On the first leg of the walk, #1 was the only occurrence and I managed that just fine.

I am not going to go further with this other than to say - never mind, I don't need to say anything.

But still I had to handle the clogged toilet. As I gazed into the now nearly clear bowl, I saw something pink jammed down  there. I reached in and voila...Jack's pink tennis ball!!! Seriously, the dog dropped her tennis ball down the john!!!

So emergency solved we, or rather I, got dressed to walk. It was a short walk today because I was going to have lunch with my baby boy son. His 27th birthday is fast approaching so he certainly doesn't see himself as a baby...but he'll always be my baby. Right moms?

Along the way I met Charlie and Fifi, his dog, who both enjoy our trail in Winter Garden. Charlie was so excited that his picture would be on the computer (his words, I just thought he was so cute).
Jack and I walked by this gorgeous house. Probably an important landowner from days gone by, like Gone With the Wind.

After getting home, showering and getting ready for some time with Sam, we went to one of my very favorite eateries nearby called Yellow Dog Eats Café. I was particularly glad to see they put some vegan options on their menu. Sam gobbled down his slaughtered pig sandwich while I munched on greenery. Here are some pics from Yellow Dog.
