And So It Begins...

My name is Linda Logan and I am preparing for the biggest, most awesome, spectacular and breathtaking adventure of my life...I'm going to walk across America! You might be wondering why. "Why" seems to be the question of the hour. Why would a woman of my age...and that shall remain a mystery...why would I leave a perfectly ok JOB, pack-up, sell, give away and get rid of nearly all my stuff in order to walk nearly 3000 miles from Daytona Beach, Fl on the Atlantic Ocean to San Francisco Beach, CA on the Pacific Ocean. What the heck?

Why not just let things be, after all they can't be so horrible as to necessitate such a drastic action. Right?

Well...right...and not right.

I do have a decent JOB (popular opinion says) and I own a nice enough house, my 2000 Ford Ranger is mine outright and I have adult children nearby. I am active in a wonderful church community and have loving friends...so what's up?

Well, there is a plethora of reasons and I will eventually share many of them with you, should you decide to come with me on my journey. Reason # 1 (not listed in order of importance) is...drum roll please...

BECAUSE I WANT TO

I've started this blog so family and friends, and I hope each of you will become my friends, will have the opportunity to "walk" with me, to share my experiences.

Maybe some of my reasons for this craziness will resonate with you.
