Oh No...Reggie? ! ?
Not even 2 weeks into my walk and Reggie the Rig has ground to a most unfortunate and pitiful stop.
Which means, of course, that I'm grounded as well. This piece of equipment is critical to successfully move from point A to point A 1/2, which is sometimes the distance I feel I've gained. I am unable to carry a backpack so a rig of some type has always been my envisioned mode of transportation. Reggie is, at this very moment, resting comfortably at the repair shop while I sit and twiddle my thumbs.
I will share with you, my kind readers, that many months of exploration and research went into the all-important choosing of my vehicle. And I might add that there are no pieces of equipment made for such a journey so I opted for a dual jogging stroller. I thought I had made a good choice, yet one very important experiment I failed to perform was to load up ALL my gear into my chosen rig and walk 8-10 miles to see how she fared. Nope, folks, I didn't do that! I put like 2 things in it, loaded Jack the dog in it and basically walked around the block.
Can you see the massive miscalculation here?
So here I sit. For a few days anyway. Hopefully, James the rig-fixer, will remedy some of the weakness and I'll be off and running...yeah right!..walking once again.

I think about and pray for you and Jack daily. It's funny that for the past day or so I thought I heard Jack begging for attention in your back yard. Alas, it turns out that I was mistaken, and for that I am grateful to read that you are living in the moment and that both of you are fine. It's a beautiful moment here...may your entire day be filled with beautiful moments as well. Peace and love, my friend!
