Less Stuff...More...Everything!
Have you taken a good hard look at all the stuff that fills your home, room, closets, garage, car? It's unbelievable really.
Not long ago I was traveling down I-4, the interstate that connects various parts of Orlando, on my way to an outdoor store to peruse all the goodies they might have to help me on my walk. I noticed, on this Sunday afternoon, the heavy traffic on the highway, noting that even in the midst of an economically troubled time, the malls were packed. Were the other travelers on their way to or from work or just out shopping. I wondered aloud to my traveling companion, how much work time is spent making money to maintain all the goodies we feel we need. No matter what we purchase, it all requires maintenance.
Even a candle requires matches.
Now please understand that I like "stuff" as much as the next guy, but the rat-race to maintain it all is a giant invisible leech sucking the life right out of me. I choose not to do it for awhile. Maybe never again.
I'm moving into a "need much less" zone so I can live Live LIVE my life rather than work Work WORK for all the stuff.
I'm expecting that:

I'm expecting that:
Less stuff = more time to contemplate, evaluate, ponder and meditate.
Less stuff = more connection to other humans.
Less stuff = more time for God
Less stuff = more LIFE!!!
