Things Don't Seem to be Going my Way...Or are they?

I had a kind of punch in the gut last week. As my wonderful, long time readers know, I am in ministerial school through the Unity Urban Ministerial Program. I thought I was set to graduate in May 2017. Wrong! Through a series of unfortunate events, I’m somewhat off kilter/schedule to graduate at my once expected time. In fact, graduation will not be a reality in my life for an additional year. We are talking May 2018. Then I have a year of internship to complete before I am ordained. 2019 !!!!

So I was bummed for a bit. And felt like I was walking in the fog. But my understanding of things is that I made the choices that impacted this turn of events and if everything is in Divine order and this I wholeheartedly believe…well then, all is well.

My student advisor really did an amazing inspirational pep talk for me. He told me to ACT AS IF I am already a minister. Give talks, write, post videos, hold retreats and begin to touch others lives. If I believe that nothing happens by mistake, I must also believe that God and I are co-creating my very best and highest good.

This too is GOOD. This too is God. And I am being blessed right now!
